Packer?

There hasn't been a whole lot going on lately we have been figuring out car situations and so I have been home a lot. Here are a few pics from the last few weeks. Also we went to Disney on Ice but I have to get my mom's memory card for the pictures because I forgot my camera.

Well it looks like I have a packer :-) Not all children are packers. The story is I had gotten home from the store and I was putting stuff away, I had gotten a few Easter items and Jade was being kind of snoopy and I called her a "Snoopy" well it hurt her feelings and the next thing I know she was standing by the front door...
Me: What's the matter? what are you doing?
Jade: I am going to go live where people love me.(Through many tears)
Me: Where is that?
Jade: Grandma Rory's
Me: How are you going to get there?
Jade: You can take me. (Still lots of tears)
Me: Well I guess you could do that but I would be very sad, and I would miss you very much. (A hug was included)
Crisis avoided :-)
This is James' new ride. Well... new for him. It is actually very nice, I need to get a picture with someone standing by it, it is very high.
We all have to find a way to deal with the car wash.... Its Gemma with "car monkey's"

Happy Birthday! Boys!

It was Cisco and James' birthdays last week. YAY! Here Cisco is enjoying his birthday dinner of Chicken Curry Casserole with garlic bread. James chose Steak for his dinner. Cisco was sad he had to go to school on his birthday, but he got to go shopping after and he got new shoes and a hoodie.
Picture of Cisco's birthday balloons.
Gemma is helping daddy open a few of his presents.

Pretty Cookies

I have been on a quest... John-Paul made some cookies a few weeks ago that were so pretty! He never bakes cookies and I on the other hand am always baking cookies, because you know they are the lost food group. Anyway I wanted to make cookies that looked like his. So I got his recipe, which by the way make fabulous cookies, and I gave it a try.... Well the first time they looked alright, and if you hadn't of ever seen his they would have been fine, however I wasn't satisfied so for valentine's Day I tried again and I was successful! YAY so I had to take a picture before they were all pigged down!

Chocolate roses

OK Valentine's Day is not my favorite holiday. I will say though I try to make it fun for the kids and not let my true feelings take over. For the record it is not because of anything James has ever not done or anything I just feel that it is a forced holiday and I don't like it. OK enough of me....
If one year your Daddy bring you a Chocolate rose, even though you are only 5, it will be remembered... Jade expects one every year and Gemma cannot be left out!
So the only thing that is required of James for Valentines Day is to bring the girls a Chocolate rose. Truly I don't want anything and he knows it, ( I have been accused of letting him off too easy) although he usually brings me a chocolate rose too.
We do have fun though I have the kids dip strawberries and we made cookies and had a good dinner of Steak, Shrimp, and artichokes.

Gemma was very excited for her "Present"!

Bullseye

We got Bullseye! Yes this is very exciting since it is very hard to find Toy Story items. Gemma was very excited!

This is just funny.... Whenever Gemma is upset with me she gets in her red car and cries. So of course I had to take a picture, which also caused her to be upset with me.. Guess some days you can't win :-)

Jade's Baptism

Jade got baptised on 2-07-2009. I can't believe how big she is!
It was an extremely special event, Her Great grandpa Hudson did the honors! She and grandpa have an extremely special bond and relationship. Jade asked him to baptise her and luckily Grandpa Richard was not offended, (He has baptised all of us, and blessed all the kids)
Doesn't she look pretty in her new dress.
We didn't have a party or anything, but we took her out to lunch since that is what she loves to do. We decided to try out The Golden Corral. Jade had a blast trying all of the food and using a new plate every time. It was very cute to watch her. Congratulations Big Girl!
