Six

O K I am assuming that I was supposed to go in the sixth folder of my pictures and pick the 6th picture, and then write about it....
This is actually really cute I loved Jades drawings and I taped them all to our pantry door when it got to be too many I took a picture to remember them.
Jana if you want I will tag you since I don't know anybody else who has a blog who reads this :-)

Asparagus picking

We went down to Delta with my friend and her kids for a few days this week. Kind of for a little trip and also because it was time to pick the asparagus. Down in Delta the asparagus grows wild and if you know where to go you can pick as much as you want and will use. It was fun and neat to see. While we were picking the kids found a bull frog in the ditch so it was of course tortured for about an hour while the adults were picking. I like frogs so I got a couple of pictures of him, he was croaking and carrying on. Pretty cute!

Braden, Tyler, Jade and Kaylee.
You can also kind of see the ditch in the background where we were picking the asparagus.

Sue (aka Grammy) Kaylee, Tyler, Jace, Gemma and Jade. We stayed with Sue and Doyle (Peggys parents) they were awesome! We did let the kids miss school, naughty I know but they learned at the farm and all that fun stuff :-)

At the farm

We went down on Monday with our friends, to Delta. Peggy's parents live there. On Monday evening we went to do farm chores.
Checking out the chickens.
This was one of the brand new baby cows they had.

Gemma was checking out the big momma cow.

Funny pictures

Gemma has started pulling this face whenever she wants to make me laugh. It works every time!
Oh Dear.... Busy girl, she got into my lotion.....What do you do except take a picture and laugh.
Feeding the birds at grandma Rory's
Gemma is also on a "bound-aid" kick. She needs one for everything, here she bumped her bean. We go through many bound-aids in a day.
I also want to jot down some of the cute things she says, so that I don't forget.
"Fine"
"It's NOT fair!" (in the proper context)
"I can't found it"
"My Jill" This is what she calls me, mostly when other people are around. If she can't see me she asks " Where's my Jill?"
"No yell me" for the record no yelling has to occur for her to say this, I try to reserve yelling for only when danger is involved, so mostly its when she doesn't want to mind.
She calls Jade "Sister" I think it is so cute.
"It's mine?" When she wants something or if its Jade's.
'Of course" also in the proper context, it's cute.
'yinon" is Lion "rebras" are Zebras, "raffs" are Giraffes. She doesn't like any bugs especially flying ones and crawling ones ( I am pretty sure that covers all the bugs) She has a temper and thinks that she should always be in Jades room. I guess she is 2 :-)
She loves her movies, and her blanket that she named "colors". She is a clothes changer and changes 15 times a day.... It is not worth the battle to try and stop her. She gave up naps last fall, I was not ready... but what do you do. However she does go to bed at 7:45 and gets up around 8:30a.m. so that is nice. She makes me laugh all day and she is my little shadow and a sweetie. Currently I cannot be out of her sight at all! I love spending all day with her and I am so glad that I can.

Cisco counting his eggs to see if he found them all... he hadn't yet.

Gemma's haul (Not the four wheeler, that was from Santa)

Jade's haul, she was very excited she got a build-a-bear skin of the new unicorn. She was very concerned because I wouldn't take her to get it before Easter (She had been saving up her allowance for it)and she just knew that they would be all gone and she would never get one. (She is very dramatic)
