Furry Worm

So we were at Walgreen's and they always have fun Spring/Easter novelty toys, of course I rarely go to Walgreen's so they may have fun things all the time, anyway Gemma found this little critter that she just had to have, but there was only one and Jade likes to have things be equal in her favor at all times. So tough decision, do I assume Jade also would like a Furry Worm or get her a Hairy ball??? In the end Gemma got the Furry Worm and Jade can make her own choice when I take her to pick one.

16 Years!!!

Hard to believe but it's true, James and I went on our first date 16 years ago on St Patrick's Day. Honestly I am sure he doesn't remember but then again that's for the girls to do. He was actually the first date that I allowed to come pick me up at home, I usually met my date's so that I had the freedom/ control to leave when I wanted or when I was done, which I took advantage of frequently ;-). Anyway He took me to The Pie Pizzeria, that was the "IN" place to go, & we went for a drive out to what is now called 5 Mile Pass, ironically, then again maybe not but we now live 10 minutes away from where we went.
He liked to go look for wild life,(still does) So it was pretty cool that while we were sitting there a couple of HUGE Bull Elk wandered by, with Antlers even. For me (I am not what you might call an outdoor girl) it was memorable!
Thank You for a very Memorable first date, 16 years together and I look forward to many more to come.

"He went to Jared"!!

Jade is very much a Girly-Girl, she loves jewelry, make-up, primping, dressing up cute and doing all things girl. Her Uncle John-Paul went to Jared for her Christmas gift this year and she was sooo excited to receive new earrings (she got her ears pierced last year) but not just any new earrings she got diamonds! They are just perfect and she adores her earrings!

Since we did Christmas a bit different i don't have many pictures of Christmas, the above one is at my in-laws with Tinnielle.
My mom got the girls pillow pets they were so excited, Gemma got "ling-ling" She is in love with panda's and he is a very loved addition. John-Paul gave Gemma some new dresses that are just beautiful.
Jade also got a pillow pet, a new Unicorn!

Dinner on a Pirate ship

While we were in Cancun for the first week we found out there was a Pirate ship that was kind of a party ship but kid friendly. So we went :-) It was so fun, we had to be at the dock by 6 and the ship left at 7p.m. We were first on the ship so we were right in the middle where the show was put on. The show was a Vegas style pirate comedy. Because we were first on that meant we were last to eat which was fine because we were really enjoying the Pirates. It probably wasn't Gemma's favorite thing as it was loud and there was dancing and yelling but I sure thought it was fun.
The Ship cruised out to sea and while the show was going they were doing dinner as well. Steak and Lobster it was delicious. After dinner they had a Childrens treasure hunt and so Jade and gemma participated (i went too). Before we cruised back to port another pirate ship came up from behind and tried to overtake the ship in a mock battle of scurvy pirates.
The whole thing was about 3 hours long and it really was fun!
