I can't believe my baby is 2!
We took her to Build-A-Bear to build a new friend....

Oh there are too many choices... how do you choose just one...

A choice has been made...

All stuffed, time for clothes... Jade loves this place and had no trouble choosing and dressing her friend "Bluebelle", Gemma didn't want any clothes on "Lola"

Now this part isn't fun for her.. how do you like the look on her face, plus she was doing her usual and leaving a trail of shoes and socks. the child does not like her feet to be hot. Now we are off to Chuck-E-Cheese...

"Mine car"

Gemma loved this car ride and anytime any other child got too close they were told quite clearly that it was hers. I didn't feel too bad since another child had set up camp on the mini merry go round.

The car was moving and gemma would just hop off and Charly would just stand up.

Now here's a good seat...

"zizza and cake"

At Chuck E Cheese we got pizza or as gemma calls it "Zizza" she loves pizza and cake, here she is kicking back and enjoying her birthday lunch.

She spent a lot of time establishing ownership of this car ride.

New Friends

When we got home I had a whole bunch of balloons blown up for Gemma, she thought it was great and kept telling me they were "Gemmas boons" & "My Boons" she spent an hour trying to corrall them then she got in.... How fun.

"Like the Olympics"

Jade entered a photograph in the reflections contest this year, the theme was "WOW" and she took a picture of the cat-faced spider living in our tree, it had caught a bee, she titled it "Having Lunch". The results were in on Thursday night and we went to a program for it. We are excited to report that she took second place and that she got a medal and a certificate for her efforts. She liked that the medal was like the Olympics.

warm weather...

The weather has been so nice lately that the kids have spent a lot of time outside. Jade is so cute and she plays with Gemma so well. Gemma is getting a ride on Jade's 4-wheeler.

They like to play dress-up.

Gemma was forcing "Moe" to play with her, I thought this was interesting because the cat is as long as Gemma is.
