Jade's Birthday...Take 2

I found this darling fish baloon while on a hunt for a "Giselle" baloon.

On January 7th, we had a party for Jade at our house, and Grandma Anaka, Grandpa Ray, Aunt Kerrie, Uncle Mike, Tinnielle and Dalton came over for pizza, ice cream and cake.

Jade picked out the decorations, of course they were princess, we did find a Giselle balloon too. For those of you who don't know, Giselle is the princess from "Enchanted".

Jades 7th birthday was January 3rd. It's hard to believe she is getting so big. this cute outfit was a gift from Uncle John-Paul for Christmas. For her birthday she wanted to go shoe shopping, see a movie and have lunch. So Grandma Rory, and Mark went with us, we went shoe shopping first and she got new boots and new ballet slippers for dance, then we went and saw "Enchanted" it was such a cute movie, Jade really likes Princess Giselle.

These are not the new boots they are black.

Jade's favorite restraunt is Olive Garden, She loves to have the soup, salad and breadsticks with white sauce..... She really always just has the breadsticks and sauce though.

The servers brought out a cake and sang to her, she thought that was great.

Then we went back to Grandma Rory's so she could open her presents.

Merry Christmas

Even though Christmas with my family was held at my house I don't have any pictures of it , I actually don't have very many of us opening presents either, I think my mom has some so I will need to get them from her. Anyway here are a few fun ones.

This is our annual family photo right before we open presents.

Jade got a new bike, but she was very concerned because she asked Santa for an i-pod and she didn't see it right away, Santa did come through however and she was thrilled with everything. John-Paul dressed her so very cute again this year I just love the clothes he gets for her there will be pictures of the clothes in a few days. She also got a new pair of Oobees from Grandma Rory.

Gemma had fun opening presents again. John-Paul also got her clothes they are so cute, He has great taste.

Cisco also had a good year he got a Dragonfly, and a new Game system, as well as a new electric blanket, and Guitar hero.

Christmas at the Property

Every year the weekend before Christmas we go up to The Property with james' parents and his sister and her family to celebrate Christmas. It is a lot of hard work but always a good time. It was very cold this year with temp's in single digits, and there was about 14" of snow on the ground when we got there. The kids always have a great time.

Gemma got very good at opening presents and she thought it ws great fun. She got this great activity cube from Grandma and Grandpa, and also a fun Circus train.

She also got a hurt eye, Grandma Anaka was trying to save a relish tray from little hands and accidentally got her eye. Of course I had to take a picture it looked so sad, but like most kid injuries it healed quickly.
